| Who
are we? "Between Counties" is a local support group which
includes portions of Fairfield and New Haven Counties. Because many of our active
members live in the Trumbull-Stratford-Milford area, towns that are located near the
Fairfield/New Haven County border, the group become known as the "Between
Counties" group. But we have members ranging as far as New Milford, Hamden, and
Stamford. Between Counties is an inclusive
group with a diverse membership. Our goal is to bring home educators together to
share experiences and resources.
Milford Weekly Social: All ages meet at the Margaret Egan Center. "Yahoo List" (email loop): This is a homeschooling forum for Southwestern Connecticut, an email loop which you can join to hear about upcoming events and to converse about homeschooling in general. This is the type of email group where you can post to the entire group if you want. Meetings: Meeting dates and times will be announced on the Yahoo List. There are some other homeschooling groups in the area that also hold meetings, such as the Shelton group (ROCKS), and Southern Fairfield Co. Homeschoolers, and the Classical Homeschoolers group.
