Color: Shiny Black                                                                 

Habitat: Rocky and rugged forests,attics and cellers of houses and barns

Range: Vermont to Georgia to Kansas

Where in Connecticut?: Primarily in southern and central Connecticut.

Diet: Birds and small mammels

Notes: It is an exelent climber.  It eats a lot of rats.  They are constrictors.
