RINGNECK SNAKE Diadophis punctatus edwardsii
 Length:
10-15 inches.
Color: Black with a yellow stripe around its neck, and an orange underbelly.
Habitat: Rocky wooden hillsides, under logs, stones, bark, etc,. etc.
Range: Canada to Florida to Texas to Nebraska.
Diet: Salamanders, lizards, frogs, small snakes, and worms.
Notes: Often mistaken for baby black racers. There is a ring around its neck.
