Length: 14-20 inches.                                                       

Color: Green with some yellow on chin.

Habitat: Open and unforested places such as meadows and pastures.

Range: Maine to the Rocky Moutains to Texas to North Carolina.

Diet: Spiders and Insects.

Notes: It is also known as the green grass snake.  Does good as pets.
