Very small magenta flowers with tiny white spots on the petals.

Wild Rose.  There are about 20 species of wild rose, and I don't know the exact species this one is.

St. John's Wort.  Used as an antidepressent for centuries.

"Meadowsweet" or Spirea.  A small shrub often planted around the yard. Very common in wild meadows up in Vermont.
